I have had a pacemaker for over 6 years to treat atrial fib. I also had an oblation at the time of the first pacemaker implant. For the first 6 years I have used 400 I.U. of Vitamin E and regular strength aspirin on a daily basis. I have had no ill effects (bleeding problems, blood clots, etc.). Why hasn't a comparative study of this simple regimen been performed? Far fewer risks of adverse side effects.
Have any comparative studies on efficiency of Pradaxa vs use of Vitamin E and 2 buffered aspirin?
