I was told that this drug was no llonger available, so I was prescribed something else that definitely does NOT work as welll. I see on the internet that pentoxifylline is available to order, so has it been taken off the market or what?
Has tentral/ pentoxifylline been taken off the market or discontinued?

It has not been reported to have been taken off the market, no such evidence was found, there are some more variations available such as * Pentoxil; Pentoxin ( by Ratiopharm); Artal (by Leiras) & Vasonit (by Lannacher), you could ask your doc./pharmacist for the right Rx, hope this helps?
