My daughter is allergic to pennicillin and was proscribed cefprozil and I am freaking out about giving it to her. She injured her foot at the playground and the doc knowing she has a penicillin allergy still perscribed it.
Has anyone with a penicillin allergy taken cefprozil and has a severe allergic reaction?

Cefprozil should definitely be avoided or used with caution in patients with penicillin allergy. If you are worried perhaps speak to the doctor again and get him/her to change it to something else.
