My wife and I cruise extensively aboard our sailboat and from time to time we get hit by rough weather. Seasickness can be very dangerous because it can be so debilitating.
Has anyone used Zofran (ondansetron) to cure seasickenss?

Thhis medication is to get rid of nausea. But what concerns me is the side effects:
What side effects may occur?
Side effects cannot be anticipated. If any develop or change in intensity, inform your doctor as soon as possible. Only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking Zofran.
Side effects may include:
Blurred vision, constipation, diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue, headache

If dizziness is a side effect, I would be concerned if you were on open seas and get sick, take the medication and then get dizzy and then you would not be worth a darn.
