I have chronic migraines and I am currently on amitriplyn 25 mg at night and Imitrex 50 to 100 mg as needed and if needed Vicodine and phenergen. I have had migraines since at least 4 yrs old I am now 51. I have tried all the old school remedies and then some. I am also on a new Depression Med called ViiBryd 40mg. The depression is due to having no life and being in pain 24/7 . Doctor is hoping that the Depression Med will help me have good days when I don't have a Migraine. So I have been told that the Nuerontin or Gabapentin will help with pain and help me to sleep through the night. It would be nice to wake up without a Migarine.
