I see it most common, but is it treatable?
Has anyone tried an acne treatment that helps reduce it?

This is in connection with side effects from Mirena.

I'd go to a dermatologist and ask for a prescription only gel/cream to use, if Benzoperoxide 10% or Salicylic acid aren't working (these are in OTC acne meds).
You could also ask to try Yaz, Ortho-Tri-Cyclen Lo, or Estrostep (the three FDA approved pills to treat acne), if you haven't already. IMO, Mirena is kind of extreme (and all IUDs are, as they can cause uterine scarring). Mirena is also only indicated if you've already had one child. A pill is a safer bet. Apologies if you already have kids, and if you've already tried the abovementioned pills.

Thanks for the response, but to answer the thought on children, I do not have any. Actually I got the Mirena on Tues and so far yes my apetite increased for Tues and Wed now I barely have one, I slept the entire day after the insertion and way very fatigue the day after as well but find myself getting back to normal actually. I am really worried about acne not too much else, and have read a lot of negative reviews and didn't read them until after I got it. Kinda on purpose. I knew I wanted this and contemplated the idea for 6 mos. The pain when I got it was bad but not horrible, and actually I had intercourse Fri. and it was magnifying. Lol So far I can't hate it just worried about the acne.
