I have a friend that's been taking it for 2 years... and has trouble keeping her eyes open... its as the lids are too heavy, and its an effort to open them

Day time drowsiness, vision changes are unfortunately the reported side effects of taking ambien, if your friend thinks its too uncomfortable being able to keep her eyes open, she should seek medical advice to request for an alternate prescription which would be better accepted by her system.

Thank you... her problem is just difficulty keeping her eyes open... lids seems extremely heavy... she has sought help... gone to many eye doctors,one that did surgery on her eye lids... no one thought it might be the ambien but me...
Most welcome, it could due to the surgery to the eye lids too, the doc would be the best bet to give her proper advice.
