Has anyone heard of or had experience with Pepcid being given to infants?

I have given Zantac (ranitidine, which is the same class of medicine as Pepcid (famotidine)) to my daughter when she was an infant, for gastro-esophageal reflux disease. I had to use it until she was about 5 months but it worked really well.

Dose guidelines are given for Pepcid use in infants, so long as you give the recommended dose it should be fine.
