I always had regular bowel movements (so large/long that they often couldn't pass the u-bend until 4-5 'toiletings' /flushes later)
6 mnths ago I became SO constipated where I if I could go I was lucky (av 6-15 pellets every 2-5 days) and often had to physically dig out the last little buggers. This went on for about 4-5 mnths then I took 1 dose of DULCOLAXand have barely left the loo since ... 3 months of explosive sludgy crap. I only eat once a day, evening meal, always have, and the GP RECONS it's 'Overflow Diahorrea' (LIQUID STOOL THAT CAN PASS A BLOCKAGE OF HARD STOOL from cronic constipation) and want to treat for CONSTIPATION ..THO I've told them I'm getting floretts of brocolli/julienne carrots and corn in the loo within 4-5 hours of eating, and how do they pass thru still lookin so well.. (not to mention poor nutritional absorption)
I've had 2 stool tests - NO bacteria, bloods for Coeliac Disease - NEG... and they still don't wanna do a colonoscopy after 6 months + of wierd bowel behaviour... Any advice.
