Has anyone had any experienes with saw palmetto use for an enlarged prostate?

I don't know of anyone who has used it for prostate problems, but the link below has 2 mixed reviews. You may find it useful.

I tried saw palmetto for about six months before I sought help from a urologist. Saw palmetto was not beneficial at all for me. I told my urologist about using saw palmetto and he replied that he often recommended its use in conjunction with other meds but he did tell me to discontinue its use since it seemed to provide no benefit initially.
