my husband was prescribed remeron for an appetite stimulant because he has leukemia, and chemo makes him not be able to eat, but when he took it he said he was hallucinating, but he did sleep for like 16 hours.
Has anyone experianced hallucinating?

Hello Green Eyez. I noticed your question and very sorry in the late answer. I take Remeron (mirtazapine, generic). In answer to your question, no I've never had hallucinations. However, reading up on remeron, its a serious side effect, having hallucinations. And you need to contact his doctor asap. Theres a massive list of drugs that I don't want to list, that effect how they effect or interact with remeron. I am glad that he sleeps. And my heart goes out to you and your husband and family. My father had leukemia. I know how it might be. Very best to you and hopefully he is doing well.

Hello Pledge, thank you for your kind response, im also sorry about your father... and the fact that youv'e had a family member with this terrible disease lets me know that you know exactly how i feel.My heart goes out to you too. Yea, we had told the doc to take him off of them and he did which is great because also, it made him hatefull and he didn't even realize it, there are so many side effects to that medication it's scary, but everyone is different and it could really help some people i suppose.Since then he prescribed him marinol instead which seems to work great. He sleeps regularly and is happy plus he can eat which is why he takes them. All we can do is take life one day at a time. Green Eyez
Hello again Green Eyez. I understand fully. My father passed on in 1975. Long time. almost well, it is a lifetime. My mother, still with us, never re-married. Shes a trooper. I see you friended me, and I'll in turn friend you. Take care now and I'm really happy that your husband is eating, as well as getting some sleep, but the eating is such a plus.
