Has anyone been able to loose weight on lexapro?

Hello j1091. Try splitting the dose, if you can. (not knowing if you're able) I know its not the ideal solution but I've done this in the past and its helped me. That, fill up on liquids, in my case coffee and water and sugarless candy. Good health and wishes to you,pledge

Nope. I only gained weight on Lexapro. And I still take it. You will plateau at a certain weight. I don't know why we gain on Lex. But it happens. I think because I eat and sleep more. But if I had to choose btwn panic or being large, the weight gain stays!! It is worth it. Good luck.

I am tapering off Lexapro completely actually. Just taking it very slow because I went from 15 to 10 and in the second week I started to get symptoms. So I went back to 15 than 4 days days of ten. It seems to have no side effects. the next time I cit the dosage will be from 10 to 7.5 and so on.

I agree weight gain is def better than panic attacks without a doubt! However I don't like the tiredness from it. I also refuse to spend money on loads of clothes =/ the pills are expensive enough as it is. I did change my eating habits and started working out again. I will keep you posted on how I do and if the love handles disappear =)
