Griseofulvin is normally prescribed for 4 to 6 weeks, for tinea capitis. generally the condition should resolve within that time but sometimes it can take longer and in this case therapy should continue until the infection has cleared.

When you take terbinafine are you still contagious? Also I know we have to be on it for 6 to 8?
