Ive been on 4-5 mg ativan 5or6 years. what drug do you use to feel comfortable while getting off ativan?
Go off ativan? best taper time for best rebound withdrawls months after? I took ativan 5 mg 6 yrs?

Hey beckatruman,
As you probably know, it is best to decrease your dosage slowly over much time when getting off a benzodiazepine such as ativan. If you are having rebound anxiety, I can recommend you investigate other medicines besides the benzodiazepines for anxiety such as many antidepressants which also help with anxiety. There is a support group which maybe helpful at the following website:
