Glipizide - do I need to have a snack at bedtime to have good am sugars?

Details:

I take 2.5 of glipizide with dinner around 7 pm.
morning sugars are about 130 at about 8 am. I woke up about 6:30 and blood sugar was 108

Yes, it is a good idea to have a snack before bedtime... to avoid a hypoglycemic attack in the morning.
