Gastroparesis and IBS sufferer? Why is age 55 the cut off age for taking Zelnorm even before it was taken off the market? I had been taking this and it was the only thing that helped. However, I was younger than 55. I am now 58? How does your age dictate taking this medicine?
Now that I am 58 I can no longer take Zelnorm - why?

In some the info on Zelnorm the cut-off age reads 55 for IBS but in others, it is age 65 for chronic constipation. Can you explain the possible difference?
