Did your G.I. doc give you any instructions for maintenance. I take nexium 2x daily as a maintenance. I also take prescription Zantac 300mg. at bed time. I definetly know diet is important. I would definitely check with the doctor about maintenance. You may not need to take anything but I would hate to see you get them back so be on the safe side and just ask.
