I have been on St John's Wort for a month now, and while I do feel slightly less depressed, my anxieties are getiing out of control. My doctor has prescribed me paxil but how long should I wait before taking it as i have stopped taking the St.Johns Wort as of yesterday... is tehre a wait period or can I just start taking the paxil immediately. I will of course not take any more Wort.
From St. John's wort to paxil? Is there a grace period to get the Wort out before paxil in?

Hey monkeybaron,
As long as you stop the St. John's Wort, you are ok to start the Paxil immediately. It will take upwards of a month to build in your system before you get the full effects of this medication. It will probably help the anxiety alot more than the St John's Wort.
