An over-the-counter antihistamine tablet such as Benadryl or a steroid cream may help relieve itching from Poison Ivy.
Fluocinonide is a potent steroid cream and should only be used on a doctors recommendation.

YES,this cream is great for poison ive, frist day on this site sorry i couldnt help you soon... i have had poison ive all my life [54] and only in the pass 10 yrs have i found what really works the best... as soon as u get it u should, clean area with warm soap water then put the cream on... it is most important to wash the area well to try and get most of the poison ive oil off the skin... also get the doctor to perscibe a 6 day steroid pack this well work from the inside out,the only bad thing is that is well itch like crazy for the frist 24hrs thats where the ceam well help out alot... hope this well help u for the next time and there always is a next time... i have gotten it on a windy spring day... best to know what all the plants look like... god bless and keep u well... sincerely David...
