Are floxin eye drops that expired 4/12 still safe to use?

they were my mothers but she is very familiar with eye drops and is sure they never touched her eye or anything when she was using them

Its not a good idea to use eye drops that have been sitting around for months. They can breed bacteria and give you an eye infection.

Also, when drops are used, the lashes flick liquid which hits the container. This is so tiny, you would never know. Hence the contamination for bacteria.
