Kind of hard to compare them as they are both pain relievers but work in different ways. The lidoderm numbs while the Flector is a non steroidal anti inflammatory which affects hormones that cause pain and inflammation. The Flector is more likely to give lasting relief as it will help with the reduction of inflammation while the Lidoderm is more likely to give immediate relief. So difficult to say which is stronger.

For me personally I find Lidoderm to much more helpful! I found it to be sort of
an instant relief when applied. The Flector patch did nothing and in fact, I
had a reaction on my skin.
I have Osetoarthritis ( a rather severe case, esp for my age of 34). I also
have Ankylosing Spondylitis, a herniated disc in my neck and 4 buldging
dics in my back. I have Sacrolitis as well as Edema in my lumber spine and
Baker's Cysts in the back of my knees.
So quite a bit of arthritic pain!! I take other medication of course, but the
Lidoderm patch def. helps when a particular area of the back, shoulder,
knee or elbows are hurting.
Good luck and I hope that helped somewhat. :)

Everyone is different. I like the flector patch. I have osteoarthritus in both of my knees they work very well when I'm hurting really bad. You can only wear one at a time though. I have tried Lidoderm and they relieved the pain too. So they are as good as well. It's an individual preferance. Good Luck. Ruth

My pm doc said I could use either 3 patches of flector or 3 patches of lidoderm at a time anywhere on my body. I used to rotate between the lidoderm patch and the flector patch every twelve hours.
You cannot use both patches at the same time.
Check with your doc and see if you can use more than one patch at a time. Perhaps I have a lower dose patch than you. I don't know.
Also, just in case you are not aware, do not use a heating pad or take a hot shower while you have a patch on. The heat can accelerate the rate the drug is absorbed into your body. One person has died because of using a heating pad with a patch. Too high a dose of the drug was absorbed into his body too fast.
The flector patch is for inflammation and the lidoderm patch is for pain.
I hope something in this post is useful to you. Blessings! Rollerskater
