I have been taking metronidazole now for close to the week ending amount. I drank. one night While taking the medication
I drank a vodka drink and i didnt get sick but now i feel very off balanced and like i have loss of balance tingeling behind my eyes when i move them,sweats, plus dahreah and fast heart rate here and there. My toung also has soars. I am scared to finish it, what should i do?

As far as the tongue having sores, get some Biotene mouth rinse from the pharmacy or mass retail store. It is over the counter, usually in with mouthwashes. It does NOT have alcohol, it has enzymes and will help heal those sore places up pretty quick most likely. If I were you, I would call a pharmacist about these other symptoms, it does have a tendency to make one feel sick, not sure if these are the symptoms you would have tho. It is awfully strong, and it can kill off all bacteria good and bad. If you seem to have a tendency to have a yeast infection, have doctor get you some diflucan. I felt like I was running a fever once on it and did NOT drink, but got really sick to my stomach. I am not one to hurl, but I hurled for hours. Call a pharmacist to what you need to do now.
