Fibromyalgia - has anyone ever experienced increased itching right before the fibro pain starts to?

thank you. now I do not feel crazy. and yes, tinnitus too. have been ignoring that for reasons I will not go into here. but that makes sense too.

it just made sense to me that the itching, or sensation would be linked to the nerve endings especially when the pain would be extreme in the same area.

I have just now started reading how stress and fatigue can make it all worse. I used to just push on thru and wonder why I would finally have to throw in the towel. now I know that rest is the best thing. better to lose one day then be down for several.

Fibromyalgia has a plethora of discomforts that will harass one that is stressed or fatigued , besides the itching and tinnitus. My mouth tends
to split in corner as week passes and I need a weekend timeout. FM
can also toss in a bad denture day if one wears denture. My friend ,
neither FM or getting old for sissies.

I did not even mention the leg thing. I get this sensation to flex and stretch my ankles and legs, like the joints need to be popped. and if I put it off, it is hard to lay still.

last week I had this new thing of both of my sides, right by the ribcage were so sore. like i had been doing alot of excercise involing that area without stretching first. had to put heat pads on them. now they just itch like made.

thank you so much. I do not always have the pain during the spring and summer but since November it has been pretty constant but not super bad all of the time. so these two answers really help me.

I was afraid that my low dose of tramadol was causing it but it did not make snes when the itching would come and where. your answers make more sense. thank you

OMGOSH, last night was worse than ever! The itch was insane, under the skin, impossible to itch & everywhere! I described it to my husband as ants crawling all over, the heebiejeebies, the feeling of walking through cobwebs... I really can't handle it. I freaked thinking I had parasites & washed all my sheets and pillow covers... I even cleaned my mattress! I finally got into a steaming hot shower & made my husband scrub my body (as much as it hurt) with aveno soap and a lufa. I got out and tried to relax my body as much as possible & eventually the itch went away! No matter how many times this happens I freak out. I hate the itch!! I also got the shivers & goosebumps..painful goosebumps! Today I am extremely tired, stiff/sore kind of in a haze & my darn eye won't stop twitching!! Do your eyes twitch?? The weather went from warm to cold and rainy & that seems to be when everything goes haywire!
