my step daughter is taking this pill and i just looked it up it says it is for hay fever but we never was told she had hay fever by here real dad and step mom what else can this pill be used for?

It is an antihistamine, usually taken for allergy symptoms (allergic rhinitis) or it can be used in some cases for skin itching (urticaria) due to allergies. It is usually taken as needed so if she skips a dose or two the worst that will happen is her symptoms will return.

Thx alot that helped out very much it is my step daughter and she just came in for a month visit but she had these pills we were told about her knee and the meds she had for it but never told about this 1 so i started checking it out and all i could see was it was for hay fever and i new she didn't have that.
Perhaps the medications for her knee caused itching? If they were pain meds, itching is a common side effect and antihistamines are sometimes given to help since the itching is a histamine response.
ok thx alot i just did not know what it was she was taking and didnt want her to have to take something she did not need she is bipolar and they took her off her meds not the Doc but her step mom did the step mom worked on an ambulance and thinks she knows everything and we had no clue if it was something the Doc put her on or if it was something the step mom desided she needed
