I have been on 150mcg for a few years for severe chronic pain for arachnoiditis and for other types of nerve damage caused by a malfuncioning shunt in my back. My insurance will no longer cover that medication.

About the only way to do it without being in absolute hell is by using suboxone. Fentanyl is horrible to stop. I've NEVER seen anyone stop it without going through total misery unless it was with subs. Here is a link explaining how I base my suboxone suggestions. If you want my help I'm on the drugs.com forum daily. Ask around the forum. I've worked with several people getting off fentanyl successfully. Hope this helps.
