My grandson has suffered from fevers monthly since he was about 5 years old. The immunologist wants to have a DNA test done to possibly find out if this is FMF or some other disorder. Are there any financial resources that offer aid in getting this DNA testing done for him. He is now almost 8 years old. Thanks, Gramma Carol

The National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD, USA is researching this illness. All services from NIH are FREE paid for by our taxes. Have your grandson's doctor search for this research.
You would need to take the child to the center, but there is free housing while there and all doctors visits, tests etc are free. Usually takes at least an overnight stay.
