False methadone in urine screen?

I know different otc meds can give false readings for other drugs. If you told the dr ? why he did this. I went to pain clinic in am on Mon as pain out of control all weekend. told to go to er where I was given a shot and told to call clinic. Called and told nurse bad connection and could not understand her. All I got was something about bringing in pills so I took in one of each thinking maybe adjustments would be made. Went there almost 6 yrs and in 2 days I would be calling for new monthly scripts of pain meds. Went for a urine test came back and nurse told me I was discharged and given 2 weeks of methadone and ms contin which I took for nearly 8 yrs. Did not do right. In pain and frustrated. Do like me and search for new Dr. I have

Rhuematoid Arthritis, peripheral neuropathy, Fibro, Raynauds, OA and just pain chronic pain in body. Read and question about meds as will help to become more familiar with what you are taking. If you get a new med and feel uncomfortable about anything only get about a weeks worth of the med and see how you feel also remember if you are on time release that med is in your body for more than 4 or 6 hrs.
