I get a rash on my face that looks like measles. I have been prescribed Desonide steroid cream by my primary physician. I've finished using all of it now and cannot get in to see the dermatologist until October 11th. If I don't use it for one day it begins to come back. Is there something I can use over the counter until then?

Sorry this question was not answered earlier for you.
Yes, there are hydrocortisone based creams available over the counter.
They probably won't be as good as what you have been prescribed but, at least, will be better than nothing. Talk to your pharmacist for advice.
