I've seen procyclidine oral being used to reverse this condition, what the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics that causes this mode of action on an individual?

The crisis is caused by excess cholinergic output.
Anticholinergic drugs such as IV procyclidine reverse the effects.
Procyclidine is usually effective within 5 minutes, although may take as long as 30 minutes for full effect.
Oral procyclidine would not work as quickly.
