I still have prenatal vitamins from a year ago and they have expired, is it ok to take them?

Does the packaging have expiration date marked on them? If not - throw them away by either giving them to your Pharmacy to dispose of, if you are on septic tank, it is okay to flush it down the toilet but do not flush medications down the regular toilet as in some States (like in many parts in FL) it is illegal to do this; and many cases you can drop unused and unwanted medications to your local Fire, Police, or Sheriff's Department - call them first to find out the hours. Some of them have specific "events" where you can even obtain "freebies" (such as free gift cards to ??? ) - just cleaning out your medicine cabinet; including Narcotics to old Prenatal pills.
But whatever you do - DO NOT TAKE THOSE PILLS!
