Is an expired pregnancy test accurate?

I wouldn't count on it if its really important for you to know. Are you using birth control?

Hi, if it just expired June of this year then it should be accurate, but if the test came up negative and you suspect you are, then yes go buy a new one and take it in the morning, your first urine of the day will give the most accurate results, hope this helps but the test should be good, I was a pharmacist and this is not the first time someone ask this question,, best wishes,, Kelly if you have any other questions pls ask!

I'm a RN and since it's only 2 months old it should not matter, Kelly was right, just follow kellys idea and we all wish you the best!! Good luck

If anything is wrong with it, you are more likely to get a false negative then a false positive. If you come up with a negative result and you still think there is a possibility of pregnancy, test with a new tester but I think it will likely be ok.

The test just expired in June so it is more than likely ok... BUT... if you really want to be sure go to the doctor, a free clinic, or buy a fresh test. Good luck hon!! :)
