Hi, I have been on this tablet for about a year for depression. Although I have to watch my weight carefully, can anyone tell me if they have put on alot of weight, because I have & now that is getting me down. Would love to get some feed back. I am very active & are careful in what I eat, I excercise regularly, but are too scared to come off this drug just yet.

Actually, decreased appetite is a known side effect of escitalopram.

Only one reviewer has mentioned about weight gain and how it can be controlled so I assume weight gain doesn't happen often.
