Hi, I take two 400mg twice day tegretol xr. I also take Phenytoin . 100 mg every 8 hours =300mg per day.
I had six Tocnic-Clonics seizuses in he last 24 hours. I have been on these pills for last 10 years. I have 5-15 seizures per month for the last ten years.
They just don't seem to work. does this combination work well for others.

I would suggest you discuss your recurring episodes with your doctor as well and he/she may decide to alter your medicine or dose, to control your seizures.
