Enalapril - how long must I take vasotec before my blood pressure comes down?

In most patients studied, after oral administration of a single dose of enalapril, onset of antihypertensive activity was seen at one hour with peak reduction of blood pressure achieved by four to six hours.

It would also depend upon the other meds that you take, it would be recommended to seek the advice of the doc/pharmacist who prescribed the med.

Take care, be safe & well, please, best wishes!
