Has anyone taken Ativan while on Effexor XR, how did it work for you?

I have been taking both for about 2mon now and I love the Effexor. I am also on 75mgs. I take 0.5 mg ativan once in the morning and once at night. When I first started taking it I felt like it worked well. This past week I have not been able to fall asleep untill around 2 am and I need to be up by 6am. So when I first started taking it I slept like a baby all night. Now I don't know whats going on, but It does help me during the day for anxiety. The Efferox is a life saver. Months of trying to find something that worked and this is the one for me. I hope this helps you.
