Effexor - can I drive my car whilst getting started on venlafaxine?

Hi..
you should know that this medication may make you drowsy.So Do not drive a car or operate machinery or any works that need alertness, until you know how this medication affects on you.

Not until you have taken it long enough to understand how the med effects you. I haven't driven in months, effexor is not the only cause but it is part of it. I know that is a bummer but your safety and other people's safety is more important.
