Details:
Hi everyone, I've read about alot of people whose spouses
suddenly stopped wanting to have sex, and they've all asked
if there was a drug to decrease their libido so they wouldn't
think about it anymore.
So, I was wondering if there is any drug out there that
serves to decrease libido (sex drive). Does anyone know?
Thanks!

I have heard that cyproterone acetate can be used to treat male hypersexuality by acting as an anti-androgen.
Further details on hypersexuality treatment can be found at:

Hope this could help. :)

Hi Bassplayer ,
I am a single , Jehovah's Witness. I have been celebate since 1992 because of my Bible based beliefs. What has worked best for me in controlling my sexual desires is prayer and a good salad. Lettuce contains something in it that cools desire. The word is lactosomething. What I do know is that it has worked wonderfully, it's cheap, and good for you too. Try it during "flareups" and see if it does not work for you. I wish you well.

OH YES, I KNOW OF A DRUG THAT WILL STOP A WOMAN'S SEX DRIVE IN IT'S TRACKS... ZOLOFT. BEFORE I BEGAN TAKING THE MEDICATION, I WAS ALWAYS THINKING ABOUT SEX AND ENJOYING IT IMMENSLEY. NOW, IT'S PERHAPS THE LAST THING ON MY MIND. I SNEAKED A PEEK AT A MAGAZINE AND HAVE WATCHED A COUPLE OF VERY SEXY MOVIES TO SEE IF I COULD GET THE OLD FEELING BACK... NOTHING. COMPLETELY GONE. BUT, THE UP-SIDE IS THAT MY DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY ARE UNDER CONTROL TO THE POINT THAT I CAN DO THINGS I HADN'T DONE ALL OF MY LIFE BECAUSE I WAS ALWAYS "AFRAID."
SOMETIMES I THINK IT'S A DECENT TRADE-OFF, BUT I'M SURE MY HUSBAND DOESN'T.
TAKE CARE,
KARYN

Maybe you won't need to continue using Zoloft for a long time.
I bet your husband partly feels happy to see you feeling better
about life in general, though. :)
All the best,
Ian Mason
