.. Hi, I have taken Doxycyline 100mg, twice a day for 21 days to treat lyme disease. My question is what is the safe time interval to wait tell I try to be pregnant... it is scary to think of these effects on the fetus

The elimination half life of doxycycline is on average 16.33 hours.
It takes 5.5 x elimination half lifes before a medicine is out of your system if you are a healthy adult. Therefore doxycycline should be out of your system in 89.8 or about 90 hours (5.5 x 16.33 hours) i.e. 3.75 days. So give it a couple of days or even a week after you finish the doxycycline doses, to make sure all of it is out of your system.
