Dovonex - what happens if the ointment is out of date? and is used?

It is best not to use any medicine past their expiry date as the manufacturer does not guarantee the quality or efficacy of the medicine. Since it will be applied topically it is highly unlikely that it'll be toxic but you can't be certain of it's effectiveness.

it's a foam so would it be easier to use one product AND would it be easier than having to apply ointment or gel?
