jodykoozeristarted using meth about 2 yr. iam basically a heroin addict,but thought speed would be less painful, i on the other hand feelthe need for meth, no motivation etc. i wasnt sure if i have withdrawls, some swear you dont

jodykoozer, im sorry that you are going thru this. i too at one time was addicted to meth and alcohol and stopped all with the help of a program here in hawaii called hina mauka. yes there are wds that come with not having or trying to stop. irritability, shakes, confusion, laziness and lots more. have you ever considered going to a treatment center and AA and NA meetings? find a support group at these meetings if you are serious. you will be amazed at how many people will welcome you with open arms. get better, and and yes it can be true, some people have it easier then others when comming off of any drug, but those are few. hope i was able to help you

well as of going to a treatment program is notatthis time (i have been to at least 9programs for alcohol, heroin,etc..i have 3 yrs. sober the 25th... i enjoy getting loaded, whichsucks.my husband hates me doing meth,so now i use pills for pain,mainly to get high,i can do a 20 sack and be good, i dont feel strunge out imreally confused,
I don't think you can say your sober for 3 yrs. if your on pain pills. You just went from one addiction to another. I know you like the high you get but it's very dangerous. Pills are depressents just like alcohol. One side effect on mect is feeling like your loosing your mind. Like your going crazy. At least for some.
