Systemic exposure to orlistat is minimal. It is probably metabolised in the gut wall and excretion of the unabsorbed drug is via the faeces. Xenical does not adversely affect the liver or kidneys. See http://www.drugs.com/pro/xenical.html

Is there a certain time period until this drug starts causing Glomerular nephritis, can 8mg a day a period of 3 month affect your kidneys or liver.
