Does Soma make Restless Leg Syndrome worse?

Soma can definitely cause restlessness and agitation if we take too much or if we start becoming dependent. Same thing happened to me using Soma. I had to stop taking it. Too much can be a different number for each of us, we all are different. How often do you take Soma? How much do you take at once? Soma caused some severe problems for me when I stopped taking it the same time as opiates. I had to deal with double restless legs between the soma w/d and opiate w/d. If your RLS is bad enough you may require a sedative. Again the dr would be able to help, I would always see the dr before changing my meds. Good luck.

To answer this one must not take this drug and sleep beside the person who does. First the drug taken in excess causes the exact systom its made to treat.I be acountryboy from the south, but Im not for pills to cure much as it will only cloud systoms for the moment..that said, my girlfriend torture herself with soma and doesnt remmber or relize it. I( vedo tape her to allow and decide for herself the worth of the same.I alswo an addictive natual to this pill. bad news on the mfg but great for profit. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. trashem

I did not find that Soma gave me RLS; however, I had RLS symptons when I took another muscle relaxer, Selaxin. You should ask your doctor to try a couple of different relaxers to see which provides relief for your problem yet does not create other unwanted symptoms.
