Help!! Less than a year ago I was given Lorazepam and Remeron and since that time I have gained a total of 70 lbs. Is their a correlation between either of these drugs and weight gain? I was 133 and now top the scales at 201.5. My nutritional habits haven't changed and I cannot figure out what is happening to me.
Thanks

It's the Remeron. It's notorious for weight gain. Lorazepam has no correlation.

Possibly, but it's more likely the Remeron.

Weight gain is a common side effect of Remeron as well as Lexapro, but not Ativan. If it becomes a problem, there are other meds you could try.
