Does primidone cause sleeplessness?

Sleepnessness is not a known side effect of Primidone, however it may be possible that it is the cause. Just let her doctor know.

The other known side effects of Primidone are:

Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome when using Primidone:

Dizziness; drowsiness; incoordination; lightheadedness; loss of appetite; nausea; vomiting.

Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur when using Primidone:

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); decreased sexual ability; double vision or unusual eye movements; fever; mood or mental changes; unusual tiredness or weakness.

No I don't think primidone causes sleeplessness. In fact it makes me sleep a lot during the day.
