They usually wont refill a script before it is due. It will depend on how the directions were written and how many days supply you were given. I. E. if they wrote 1 pill every six hours that gives you four pills a day so 20 should last 5 days but if they wrote 1 pill every 8 hours you would only get 3 pills per day and 20 would last approx 6.5 days. If they wrote for 1 pill twice a day it would last 10 days etc. Depending on your insurance, they may fill a day or so earlier but they may not fill until the day you should run out (also depending on how generous the pharmacist is willing to be) If they wrote for 1 pill every six hours (which is pretty standard) you should be ok for a refill if it has been 7 days.

Outstanding! Thank you. If the only thing written was "May refill 1 time before June" with no other stipulation, would they refill it after today? Also, if my insurance doesn't like it, can i pay cash?
What are your directions for taking them? It would depend on how this is written. If the insurance wont let it through because it is early the pharmacy may let you pay cash but they will have to get an ok for an early fill from your dentist who prescribed.
