I started taking the 30mg of the Opana but you have to remember that I have been on Opiates a long time I was placed on the Opana 40mg after a fall in February so it seems to work without some of the side effects I have experienced with other medications, the 30mg of Opana may work really well for you. keep us posted and I do hope you feel better with this medicine

For me no. It lasts about 8.. then use break through, it kicks back in around the 10 hour but holds off til your next dose. A small increase like 3 times a day can improve that. Talk to your doc. After 9 days of OMG type pain.. its doing well just burst pain at the 8 hour an 10 hour. If you schedule yourself well you will have those during the night. I am setting an alarm for 4:00am.. then able to take it the hour before supper. My break through occurs predictably at the lunch hour and about 2 pm. Take ur backup and roll through. Best of luck.
