Thankyou for your recent reply regarding alcohol and animal deratives in nasonex. As a muslim this issue is of great importance to me. You mentioned that most of the ingredients are plant based and that the spray is alcohol free. Is this a 100% assurance and if not is there any way of finding out for definite?

Hey asma,
The ingredients of nasonex are as follows:
Active Ingredient/Active Moiety:
Ingredient Name
Mometasone furoate (Mometasone)
Inactive Ingredients:
Ingredient Name
glycerin
cellulose, microcrystalline
carboxymethylcellulose sodium
sodium citrate
citric acid monohydrate
benzalkonium chloride
polysorbate 80
I don't believe there is any alcohol in Nasonex nor are there any ingredients derived from animals rather most of these ingredients are plant based.
Laurie
