I realize this answer is very, very late ... but may help someone in future.
Although steroids can elevate blood sugar levels, it is probably unlikely that the amount of steroid delivered and absorbed by the Nasacort would affect or elevate blood sugar levels. However, it may happen.

My blood sugar levels have been running good during the day but in the morning they are sometime 20 points above normal. Why would this be?

What would be considered high? I checked my blood sugar before breakfast everyday for a week and my blood sugar levels were between 9 and 10.9 ...
