I have gained alot of weight since the fall. I am on numerous meds and wanted to know if this iron pill will make you retain water or gain weight?

Ferrous sulfate an iron supplement can make you constipated which can make you feekl like you've gained some weight. My doctor switched me to Ferrous Gluconate instead for my anemia. Remember to drink lots of water. Like 64 ounces a day. Pop, coffee & tea don't count as they have caffeine which can dehydrate you Good luck to you...

It most certainly made me plumb up like one of those BALL PARK FRANKS, you know Hotdogs? LOL? Yes it does to some folks, I was one for sure. BUT, did you ask the doctor or the Pharmacist about it, all people are different so one thing could happen to 1 person & not to another? Hi i have never come across this and have worked in pharmacy for many years, all i can suggest is that you have gained weight due to constipation?? If not, go see you doctor because that is weird
