Hello Jess,
Insomnia is not listed as a possible side effect, however a serious or severe side effect of this medication is Impotence, if one were to experience it one must seek immediate medical attention.

Jess, you must bare in mind that not all organisms are the the same , we are all unique, we react to medications in different ways, their benefits, possible side effects, interactions, etc. So how the medication and everything that comes with it, may have an effect on an individual in a certain way, on another person it may have a complete different effect.-
